Managing the Ontology Mirror
The Ontology Mirror (OM) is a repository of ontology files, usually cached while importing them from the Web (see the OM-related operations in the Metadata and Import section of the manual).
Other than being used during import operation, the OM can also be accessed and managed directly from the Semantic Turkey menu, as for figure below:
Upon selecting the above option, the Ontology Mirror appears as in figure below
showing a list of ontologies and their local cached file
There are two actions which can be chosen by activating the context menu on the entries in the table:
- delete: deletes both the entry from the table, and physically removes the cached file from the file system
- update: allows to updated the cached file with a newer version. Selecting this action activates a secondary window with the download options shown in figure below
